INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES
Land And Building
The built up area of the factory and the other building is
174250 sq ft. Layout of the building is planned to suit the Roller Flour Mill and includes in plant storage of wheat after washing, storage of finished products, etc. Separate storage space is used for wheat and wheat products.
Plant & Machinery
The Plant & Machinery includes Roller Flour Mill and related equipment, Laboratory Equipments and other Fixed Assets. New machinery was set up, however The entire machinery is new with minimalistic wear and tear and the shelf life is expected to be at least 20 years. Rated capacity of the plant is 220 + 50 metric tons/day. The plant is quiet sturdy and is maintained in a good condition. The
plant is fully capable of turning out good quality wheat products at the rated capacity without any additions or modifications .
UTILITIES
Power: The unit has High Tension Installation in factory premises. And Connected Load (KW) 750.00
Water: Water requirement is only for washing of wheat. Water is available & RO unit is installed.
Air: Roller Flour Mill employs gravity flow of grains. Therefore there is repeated up and down flow of material in various stage of processing. This flow is maintained by pneumatic pressure for which purposes, fans and blower are installed which form an integral part of the Plant and Machinery.
Transportation:It is connected to Pune .So transportation is easily available.
Labour: The unit has a work force capacity of 35 persons of which 30 persons are employed in the work and balance in administration functions. Some of the printing, packing and stitching work is handled on job work basis. The labour force is adequate to man 2 shifts of 12 hours each to keep round the clock working. Being a capital-intensive unit with continuous material flow, the labour requirement is relatively low key. The labour force includes a fitter and an electrician for maintenance. Most of the labour force is from North &East India where wheat milling is a traditional activity. Labour quarters have been provided at the factory for their stay.
