The Sai Agro Industries is registered 2010 in the State of Maharashtra with the main object of trading and processing wheat and wheat products activities. The registered office of the firm is situated at office No.44, Sumeet Plaza ,2nd Floor, Market Yard, Pune – 411037. The firm will produce wheat products like Atta, Rawa, Maida, Sooji (semolina) and Wheat bran.

The Concept of flour milling must be as old as civilized mankind itself. The flour mill must have been present always in some form or other to convert the wheat into eatable wheat products. Rationally Chakkis have been used to prepare Atta from wheat and step by step has come to modern process of “Roller Flour Milling” in which several types of wheat products are manufactured at the same time. There is an ever-increasing demand for the wheat products produced by flour mills. Following are some causes attributable for this:-
- There has been tremendous change in the food habits of people. Readymade foods are nowadays becoming more and more popular. Today when men and women both are working, the readymade items like bread, biscuits, cakes, and other bakery items are
consumed in a large scale. - The quality of wheat products produced by flour mills is much more superior to that of traditional Chakkis.
- Nowadays from health point of view there is a by higher consumption of wheat and less rice.
India ranks Third in Agriculture Industry and second largest wheat growing country , not only do we produce enough, but we also export. Forever, human beings or animals require food to survive in this World!!! Without food, of whatever kind, no living being will be able to survive. The times of pandemic like now are a testimonial to that. The world is suffering with a chaotic situation, and only essential services including food industry were working. To top it up, the Russia and Ukraine crisis will create an abundance of opportunities to export wheat flour. One of the Partner brings a huge experience to the table. He is completely aware of the market trends and consumption patterns that flow in the industry, its demands and the shortfalls.
With this in mind, the company will engage in supplying quality products for edible purposes to cater to the requirements of both human beings as well as animals. Another Partner has a rich experience of over 10 years in procurement, sales of the business development, corporate tie-ups and big wholesalers. It will collectively been catering to the requirements of various concerns in the regions of South Maharashtra, Western Maharashtra and South India. And Production Technical Head brings an experience of 15 years in Flour Mill Industry, which will help in garnering large.
PRODUCTS & CAPACITY
The main products of the company will be to manufacture Supreme Quality of wheat products viz. Atta, Rawa, Maida, Sooji (Semolina) and Bran by applying the latest production techniques and by applying the most concentrated Measures of quality control.
The installed capacity of the unit is 220 + 50 M.T. per day. In the due course this capacity may be increased depending upon the demand factor by adding some machinery. The Maida is widely used in manufacture of Bread, Biscuits, Cakes and several other types of Bakery products and fast foods. They are also used domestically. Hotels consume these products in large quantities. Atta as is known universally is the traditional principle food of North Indians and also of the people of many other places in rest of the country.
RAW MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS
The only raw material required for flour mill is wheat. The major source of wheat will be from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Northern parts of Maharashtra. One of the Partner owes a godown in Guna, M.P. The wheat can thus be procured directly from the farmers and increase the scope of profits as we can avoid middlemen. Large quantity of wheat is grown in most part of the Maharashtra, M.P, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Gone are the days when India was facing food crisis. Now India has made great development in the growth of food grains. It has exceeded the self-sufficiency in the field of food grains. Rather now a day it is recognized that India is not having adequate godown to store its agricultural production. It can be concluded that, the unit shall never face difficulty with regard to availability of its raw material. The wheat requirement of the unit shall be 5500 M.T. per month. There is no GST for wheat and wheat products.
